1-What is the Club’s methodology like?

Moreover, the club offers 8 monthly meetings of 50 minutes each. Additionally, whoever begins to be part of the club must choose the 8 matches offered in two different shifts.

Furthermore, each member receives a PDF with the topics to be discussed in each meeting each month; this way, if the student wants, they can prepare for the meeting. However, this is not a requirement to enjoy the classes.

Moreover, the tutor presents the topic, and the questions or expression of thoughts begin. Since it is a limited time, the tutor will regulate the conversation to give everyone the opportunity to express themselves.

Additionally, each class will have a maximum of 6 people.

2-What are the Club’s hours?

Moreover the Club is offered at two different times and depending on the level. EASTERN STANDARD TIME (The schedule can be modified, to be sure please send an email to mba@mindbridgebilingual.com)

Intermediate level:

-Morning: 6.30 to 7.20 am- Tuesday and Thursday

-Afternoon: 6.30 to 7.20 pm- Monday and Wednesday

Advanced level:

-Morning: 6.30 to 7.20 am- Wednesday and Friday

-Afternoon: 7.30 to 8.20 pm- Monday and Wednesday

3-What should my level of English be?

The Club is offered at two levels: Intermediate and Advanced. Below you find what skills you should have to participate in each level.

Intermediate level: You have a basic knowledge of Spanish vocabulary and grammar, allowing you to communicate in everyday situations. However, you can make mistakes and suffer limitations in terms of vocabulary and construction of more complex sentences. You can understand everyday conversations in Spanish with native or non-native speakers, as long as they speak clearly and at a moderate pace. Your are able to use a variety of tenses in his conversations, although you may have difficulty with more advanced tenses.

Advanced level You have a large and diverse vocabulary to express ideas and discuss a variety of topics with ease. Your are good in grammar, including advanced tenses, conditional structures, and modals. You are able to understand fast and varied conversations with native or non-native speakers.

4-What is NOT a conversation club?

Is not:

A grammar class: Our conversation club doesn’t focus on formal grammar teaching.
Like traditional learning environments: It’s not about constant correction but emphasizes communication.
An intensive learning environment: No intense pressure or formal study is expected.
A substitute for formal Spanish classes: It complements structured courses, offering practice and skill improvement.

And keep in mind…

-A place to learn from scratch: It is not the best place to learn the basics of the Spanish language. Participants are generally expected to have at least a basic level of language knowledge.

-A formal testing environment: Although informal testing can be done, a conversation club is not a place to take tests or receive formal grades.

IMPORTANT NOTES

In relation to the cancellation of the subscriptionto the CLUB: Cancellation of the club subscription can be done at NO COST at any time, provided it is before the start of the following month. However, if you decide to leave the club after the month has started, you CAN NOT request a refund, and you must cancel for the following month.

According to the technical requirements: To participate, you must have an Internet connection and use an address where you can start the meeting via Google. We highly recommend a Google email address. Additionally, meetings, if possible, require cameras to be on to see each other and have a better conversation.

Regarding the delivery of certificates: MindBridge does not provide a certificate of knowledge for participating in the conversation club, as it is not a course or diploma. However, if the member remains in the club for at least 3 months, Mindbridge grants a certificate of recognition of participation in the club.
